This month\u2019s Voices at the Table will explore Black, Brown, and Blended Families, as co-moderated by Sandra Organ Solis and Marissa Fehler. Various families from our Hays county communities will share their experiences as families of color, and ways they see moving forward.<\/p>\n

PREPARATION FOR THE TABLE<\/p>\n

We invite you to prepare for our conversation by reading the essay, The Purpose of a House on our Session Reference Material page, and by watching two videos posted below. The first video is the story of a Black\u00a0 parent in San Marcos, and the second, is a short\u00a0 but remarkable video made by a Wimberley student.\u00a0 These reference points will set the tone for our\u00a0 discourse with the families of our community.<\/p>\n
